Meet them below in their own words. |

Benjamin VanTol
I am currently a junior at
Davis College, studying in the Pastoral Bible
Exposition concentration. I am working towards becoming a youth pastor
one day, which is the ministry I
feel God has called me. I love picking apart the
Bible especially the New Testament, I love looking
at the Greek and studying what the original message
would have been in their world. I have been working
at the Davis Library for about 1 ½ years now.
I love it here. There are so many books here and when I am checking to
make sure the shelves are in order, I never fail to
see a interesting book that I hadn't seen before and
I find myself checking them out of the library so I
can read them.
My favorite part of working here is the people, I love helping people find
the information they are looking for. Even when the
topic is kind of out there, like The Truth of
Aliens, I always find joy in helping people get the
books they are looking for. I have a couple
different hobbies; video games, working on learning
to draw, but my primary hobby that I would probably
not be able to do without is music. I love music, I
can't play it to save my life, but I listen to music
whenever I get the chance. If it sounds good I will
give it a shot. A big joy of mine is finding new
songs that stay stuck in my head for days. I am
also secretly a ninja.
I have a blog that I don't update very often, but
when I feel like I have a thought to share I put it
there.

Matt Lashway
Hi,
My name is Matthew Ryan Lashway. I am in my second
year of Davis College, so that would make me a
Sophomore. I am majoring in both Greek and Hebrew
Pastorals. So I hope to graduate and go become a
pastor to wherever God is calling me to be. I am
into a lot of different types of Christian music. My
favorite being heavy metal Christian music, which is
what I normally play on my guitar, unless I am
leading worship here at Davis or at the church I go
to. Then I usually go for the praise music or hymns,
which are also one of my favorite types of music. I
love working at the library here at Davis, and one
of my favorite authors would have to be Ogden Nash.
I enjoy warm summer weather, long walks down
Riverside Drive and the smell of the Susquehanna
River. I am usually pretty helpful in finding what
you need. I even saw
Dr. Dino Pedrone at work on one of
his sermons on my shift.
