Global Ministries Week

March 23-27, 2009

 

Global Ministries Week at Davis College took place Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27, 2009. Our special speaker was Dr. Larry Reesor, founder and president of Global Focus, and a Davis College Trustee.

 

Under the guidance of Dr. Gilbert Parker, Chief Academic Officer, Global Ministries Week is designed to evoke Christian compassion in helping people around the world.

 

The vision of Global Focus, Dr. Reesor's organization, is to see the global church spiritually revitalized and strategically mobilized to fulfill its role in God's global missions. Global Focus exists to glorify God by helping pastors and church leaders to be more effective in mobilizing churches to reach the world for Christ.

 

Speakers from other ministries and missions organizations presented information to encourage and challenge our community to reach out to people in the name of Jesus Christ.
