A Note from Dr. Blanc
“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so…” (Psalm 107:2)
This phrase stood out to me as I recently read through the One Hundred Seventh Psalm. The psalm describes a wide variety of circumstances from which the Lord redeemed His people. How should we respond? How do we respond? Let us rejoice in the steadfast love of God toward us in the Lord Jesus!
During April, our students had the opportunity to share the gospel in New York City. Some participated in an open-air evangelism campaign that allowed thousands to hear the good news of Jesus Christ on the city streets. Another group traveled to one of our teaching site locations to conduct worship services at a Brooklyn church. During the same weekend, they also ministered at the Bowery Mission in Manhattan—praying with residents and serving meals. It was an impactful weekend for both our students and those they served.
Yes, “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so.”

Missions Trip to New York City
From April 4 to April 6, Davis College students embarked on a meaningful weekend missions trip to New York City. On Saturday, they served at the Bowery Mission, helping to provide meals to those in need. On Sunday, they partnered with our Brooklyn teaching site at the French-Speaking Baptist Church, joining in ministry and fellowship. We are grateful for all the prayers leading up to this impactful trip!

We pray your Easter was filled with celebration, reflection, and the joy of the Lord. As we move forward from this sacred season, may the hope of the resurrection continue to inspire and strengthen you daily.
Let us remember that Christ’s victory over the grave secured eternal life for all who believe. His sacrifice calls us to live with purpose, to seek His will, and to serve faithfully in His name.

Student Feature – Brogan Reilly
“I decided to go to Davis College during the summer of 2024 while working on the Word of Life Island following my second year at the Word of Life Bible Institute. I chose Davis to further my education and knowledge of the Bible—specifically in the area of biblical counseling—in preparation for overseas missions.
Through classes, I’ve learned how important community is. Whether through class discussions or spending time with classmates, I’ve come to see the value of fellowship that goes deeper than surface level. Davis College has provided that for me. As I head into my final year, I’m excited to use what I’ve learned in future ministry and wherever God leads me!” – Brogan Reilly, Class of 2026
Student Life
Spring Break has come and gone, and the semester is nearly complete! Students are eagerly anticipating the end of the semester, now just about one month away.
A group of our Pottersville Main Campus students recently traveled to Brooklyn, New York, for their first visit to one of Davis College’s teaching sites: the French-Speaking Baptist Church of Brooklyn. This weekend trip included participating in Sunday morning services and assisting with lunch service at the Bowery Mission in Manhattan.
It was an honor for our students to worship with French-speaking Haitians and an eye-opening experience to minister to many marginalized individuals in Manhattan. The group had many fruitful conversations, and we are praying that the Lord continues to work in both locations. As you think of our students throughout April and May, we ask that you pray for endurance and perseverance. Pray that they manage their time wisely as they finish the semester, and that they press on to complete their studies for the glory of God. Thank you in advance for your prayers
Concentration Highlight: Intercultural Ministries
The Intercultural Ministries concentration is designed to provide both a general overview of global missions and a specialization that enables students to serve effectively in the cross-cultural ministry field of their choice. This program is ideal for individuals called to serve in global missions.

Upcoming Events
Summer Break
The school year is coming to an end! On May 16, our students will leave for summer break. Many will volunteer their summers with Word of Life Youth Camps, while others will serve in various ministries. Graduation will take place on August 16 here on campus.
Please pray that our students finish the school year well and continue to pursue the Lord in all they do.
