About Me

My name is Doctor James Howard, I am an adjunct professor for Davis College in the field of Organizational Leadership. I have been a professor with the college since August of 2024.

My spiritual journey started when I was about five years old. In Jr. Church, I learned about the consequences of sin and about a great Savior who could save me from those consequences. I put my faith and trust in Christ. Later, I was baptized at ten years old and began serving in the church. I started off as an usher and fast forwarding today I serve as a youth leader and deacon.

At a young age, the Lord led me to serve in youth ministry. This led me to pursue different fields of education, starting at Manchester Community College and acquiring an Associate’s Degree in General Studies in 2010. From there, I continued my education online through Clarks Summit University. I achieved a B.S. in 2016 and a master’s in organizational leadership in 2018. Finally, I obtained a doctorate at Liberty University in the field of strategic leadership in 2022.

Today, my leadership skills are used in both the church setting and in my employment setting. I work as a supervisor of maintenance in a local school system. I desire to see others become leaders in whatever field or ministry they are called to be in.
