CHRISTIAN COUNSELING CONCENTRATION

The Counseling Concentration is designed to prepare graduating students for support ministries of the local church or para-church organization, either in a staff or lay capacity. Graduates of this concentration will be prepared to serve as biblical counselors in Christian ministries or to pursue further study in the field of counseling.

If you are a compassionate individual who wants to make an impact in the lives of others through personal interactions, this concentration is for you.

My time at Davis College helped lay a strong biblical foundation for my life, relationships, career, and future goals. The smaller class sizes allowed me to personally connect with my professors, who served as influential mentors – challenging me to strive for excellence and encouraging me in my faith. In my current position, I find myself using so many of the skills and disciplines learned at Davis, and I am so grateful for the experiences and relationships built there.
