Independent, non-denominational church located on the border of New York and Pennsylvania is seeking to hire a pastor to replace our retiring pastor.  The church is located on the main street of a residential area in a community of approximately 2000 people.  Our current average attendance for our Sunday morning service is sixty people.  Our key ministries include one Sunday morning service, Sunday School, Women’s Bible Study, Wednesday Bible Study/Prayer Meeting, a caring planning committee, Awana, Vacation Bible School and missions.  We are searching for a pastor who is willing to work with a smaller congregation to reach our community for Christ and try to grow a stronger young family base to ensure a Christian world view is carried to the next generation.  Any candidate should fit the biblical profile of a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3, have formal Bible training culminating in a degree, believe Jesus Christ is our only hope of salvation by faith through grace and that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God to be used as our guidebook from God for this life.  A church profile is available on request.  If interested, please contact Robert Wandell, Board Member, Chemung Christian Fellowship, 726 Main St Chemung, NY  14825 by email at bobrenwandell@hotmail.com
