The Difference

A Note from Dr. Blanc

One of my blessings this year has been attending and speaking at our President’s Chapels. Yes, attending, because our students rotate leading worship in groups, and it is a joy to be on the receiving end of their ministry. Uplifting. Encouraging. Inspiring. Davis College prepares servant leaders. While one group is leading worship, another dedicated student team is live-streaming and making sure my audio functions. To witness our students ministering to each other is to witness a mighty move of the Spirit of God in our midst. They serve not out of duty but out of devotion, devotion to Christ, and to each other. I’m reminded of the apostle Paul, who wrote, “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom 14:17, NASB). Rejoice with me!
